Better With Age

Here is the description of Better With Age and what it is all about, plus why it's a thing I am involved with.

About Lea

Lea's passion for wellness started over 20 years ago when she was able to heal her own chronic conditions and lose 50 pounds using the tools of nutritional therapy.

Lea received her M.S. in human nutrition from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut and is a licensed nutritionist through the Minnesota Board of Dietetics and Nutrition. She is also nationally recognized as a certified nutrition specialist through the American Nutrition Association (ANA). The ANA champions the science and practice of personalized nutrition to move nutrition to the core of health care.

Learn more about Lea

"I have been on many diets and different weight loss programs in the past but always gained my weight back. I thought if I cut down my portion sizes that was an effective way to lose weight. But after starting the 7 Systems plan, I learned it is not only about the portion size but what I was eating. I had always eaten fruits and vegetables but not always “good” ones. Since starting the program, I have learned what foods help my system and what ones will not. I am now eating much healthier and enjoying foods that I was sure I did not like even though I had never eaten them before. I lost weight but the more important I think is how my body feels. I have started an exercise program and am walking consistently without leg, hip, and back pain. This may sound strange, but my gut feels much better now, not as heavy. I cannot thank Lea enough for offering this program. I now have the tools and support to keep on my journey to lose weight and improve my body with better exercise and eating habits."
